Tap-based identification

HF and NFC label printing for connected products and secure workflows

HF and NFC labels support deliberate close-range interactions: tap a product, verify an item, open a digital experience or capture a controlled process step. We help specify compatible labels, encoding, memory and print requirements.

A complete working process

More than a printer specification

We consider the label, data, encoder, product and downstream read point together—because each one affects the result.

01

Tap to interact

Create intentional close-range experiences using compatible NFC-enabled phones or dedicated readers.

02

Encode useful data

Prepare URLs, identifiers or NDEF records around the chosen tag type, memory and application.

03

Protect the workflow

Consider locking, password features, signatures and system-side validation where authenticity matters.

04

Keep print aligned

Combine branding, instructions, variable print and electronic data in a repeatable production process.

What we will confirm with you

A short discovery call and representative samples can remove much of the risk from equipment and media selection.

What is the difference between HF RFID and NFC?

NFC is a short-range technology within the 13.56 MHz HF family, designed for intuitive interactions between compatible devices and tags. A project still needs the correct protocol, tag type and reader support.

Can a phone read every HF RFID label?

No. Phone compatibility is associated with NFC-supported tag technologies, not every HF RFID implementation. We confirm the intended reader or phone interaction before choosing media.

Can NFC labels open a web page?

Yes, a compatible NFC tag can store an NDEF record containing a URL. The destination, redirect management, security and long-term data ownership should be planned alongside label production.
